How much or what percentage $ is.. $$.... etc when people talk about scholarship info? Thanks

People use them to mean all kinds of different amount, there are really no commonly decided definitions afaik.

The most common usage I've seen is:

$ = 25% scholarship
$$ = 50%
$$$ = 75%
$$$$ = 1000%

...but, as Helm noted, there really isn't one unanimous key.

DAMN, where can I go to get a 1000% scholly?

I'll treat this as not a joke. UVA means University of Virginia.

Quoted for

QFepicness = quoted for epicness (a post is thought to be epic)
QFP (most common usage) = quoted for posterity (a post that should be quoted and left for all to see, forever . . . I think)

While this might be TLS correct, on other boards the P stands for the less elite "proof".

What is MVP? People refer to MVP as if it's one direct school (Is paying sticker at MVP worth it?) There's a couple thousand dollars difference in every school. Sticker $38k is different than sticker $45k.

So if it's multiple schools I'm thinking that's Michigan, Vanderbilt and who?

MVP?

lol

Almost as funny as, "What's UVA?"

How is that funny? If you want to be politically correct, that's actually PMV so that's an honest mistake since people make it cute as easy to say as oppose to calling it like it is. People don't say YHS even though for years now, technically that's how it is over HYS. Just saying.
