And for topics on which it is not - just create a thread (or 3). Then add "Now with Poll!" after a few days. You'll have the answer (and the echo).

A mindless echo chamber that will help you avoid costly mistakes and obtain highly remunerative jobs at the expense of your less informed - and more likely to perish in debtors' prison - peers.

What are your thoughts on market ties? Love em, hate em, indifferent?

I would like to practice international birdlaw in the US Virgin Islands after I graduate. Would this Valparaiso Law School that keeps emailing me be a good place to pursue this goal?

PS; please don’t respond if all you have to say is “no” or anything negative.

It depends on the market.

For instance, the supermarket is easy to get into. It's usually just open 24 hours a day. You can get into that market, regardless of the grades on your transcript. The ties that they sell are not very nice, though. I, personally, don't like those market ties.

Hate em.

I knew this guy back in Philly who got a job in El Segundo after graduating from Tulane.

You don't need ties to get to Central California

I'm not sure why you're commenting on this, since as a non-CA person you are grossly unqualified to weigh in on whether something is lulzzzzzy or not.

Come on, it wouldn't be a mindless echo chamber without poasts like these. E.g., El Segundo is not in Central CA. It's actually in a pretty nice spot right on the beach between LAX and Manhattan Beach, ignoring its oil refinery, sewage treatment and power plants, which is surprisingly easy to do given the location.

You should read this thread. It'll help clear up some of your misconceptions about CA geography.

Does leaving your wallet in El Segundo count as ties?

I enjoy yours as well, Pancakes. Mine is only temporary until one of the rabble I associate with edits an image of Ron Brown onto a cross.
