I don't think this will be a negative for law school admissions. I think the awards are cool and I'd absolutely put them on your application.
I'd probably leave any activism/2nd Amendment stuff off your resume when it comes to applying for legal jobs though, just in case, and maybe even the awards, for the reasons Romo listed.
My background: awful marksman (markswoman?) who gets embarrassed by her 14-year-old sister at the shooting range.
