You are reading the poll very generously in your favor, just like you're reading your school's employment stats generously in your favor, only counting people when it is convenient. Counting the "I dunno, maybe overstated?" group in your favor is pretty disingenuous. And again, limiting this poll to people who have actually been through hiring, aka 2Ls, 3Ls, and recent grads, would result in a far more distorted poll in favor of ties being an important factor in hiring. Just look at who has posted in support of you (mostly 0Ls and 1Ls) and who has disagreed with you (everyone else).

Also-- 23 yr old 2L at private school gunning for big law is arguing with a 30 yr old 1L at state school where no one gets their jobs through OCI and no one has options outside the state ABOUT employment at state schools where no one gets their job through OCI and no one has options outside the state.

I think the poll would be different too if it were filled with even more T-25 gunners who are having trouble getting jobs in states 1000 miles from their law school where they have no ties. The yes vote might actually be winning.
