American has one of the best PI law programs in the country and it puts you smack dab in the DC network that will plug you into the mecca of PI law.
But be prepared to be the low man on the totem pole against students from Georgetown and George Washington and be ridiculously in debt (unless you have a scholarship). I know the government has that 10 year forgiveness program but you still have to pay your debt for 10 years as if it wasn't there. Plus, maybe I'm paranoid but I would fear benefits like that could get yanked out from under you at some point with federal deficits and all. Likely they'd grandfather it in, but something to think about...
Tulane is the better choice in general but if you really want to go into PI law, I'd go American.
