Ultimately people on TLS kept me from going. It took a full 3 pages, but I finally got the message. That's the best answer I have. Have him create a TLS account and create a post asking for opinions. After that, help him create a plan to study for the LSAT. I honestly think anyone can crack 160 with a little time. I think most people can get in the high 160s if they commit to learning the test and bust their ass.
