Visiting a WL school? Good idea yes?

So I'm WLed at Chicago and would like to give myself the best chance I can to get off the list. Does visiting the school potentially give me a boost?
The visit thing is new to me as well, so assuming it is a good idea should I set up a meeting with anyone in admissions or somehow get my name in there system as having visited or is that relatively pointless? Obviously I'll use it as material for a LOCI but I wasn't sure if it was considered appropriate or necessary to make the visit more official than dropping by and getting a campus tour?
Additionally I fully realize that there are good reasons to visit outside of WL help (the whole visiting schools you might attend and all ) but this come down to whether I should do so before their LOCI deadline of March 30, 2012 which I would do if there is a benefit.
