TLS HELP ME DECIDE. UIUC vs W&M VS HOUSTON
My cycle is pretty much complete. I live in TX and I would like to practice in Houston once I graduate. I got 11k a year from UIUC, 10k a year from W&M, and so far nothing from U of H, except I get in-state. UIUC is ranked 23 and W&M is ranked 27 while Houston is ranked 56. Just wanted to get some feedback as to which option would be the best.

Neither UIUC nor W&M is good enough to justify taking one of them over UHouston for work in Houston.

You answered your own question with "I want to work in Houston." You'd be a fool to go to the other schools.

Houston and you should also negotiate scholarship. I don't know your numbers but I am guessing you can get some money from UH. While I didn't end up at UH I was able to increase their scholarship offer through negotiation.

Illinois student here - you would be insane to go here if you know for sure you want to work in Houston after graduation

Houston isn't much for giving a scholarship. In-state tuition is really nice though and Houston isn't that expensive to live in for the 4th biggest city in the country.ClutchCity24 wrote:Houston and you should also negotiate scholarship.
