Deadline is Feb. 1st - LORs not processed in time, submit?

So I'm curious what one does in this situation. My friend is running very behind on his LORs, and it looks like his LOR's won't get processed in time. Is he screwed, or can he submit his 100% completed application (minus the LORs of course) to his school without being dinged because of their deadline?

How do non-completed apps get dealt with by schools in this case?

He should send in the app to get in before the deadline, and email the school about his LOR situation.

Though honestly, it is extremely late in the cycle to be sending in an app and he will likely be dinged just by virtue of being so late.

Alright, I will tell him, thanks!

He knows he'll get dinged for his tardiness. But the school in question is USF and he's sitting on a 169 LSAT score. Granted his GPA is 2.89, but I think he'll get into USF regardless with those numbers.

He'll get in, but he shouldn't go.

Yeah. He's trying for Hastings, but with his GPA he might not get accepted. All other schools are out. His wife doesn't want to live outside the bay area :P
