Too late to submit "Why Virginia" statement?

Postby Nestico87 » Wed Jan 11, 2012 10:01 pm

I sent in my Virginia application about a week ago, though without a "Why Virginia" statement. Since then I have realized how important it is to accompany my application with a school specific essay. Would it be a good idea to write one now and email it to them, or would this hurt my chances by only further pointing out that I didn't submit it earlier with the rest of my application?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, would I just email it directly to their admissions office?

Yes, email one to the admissions office. They won't care that you didn't include it initially and even if they do, it's important enough to your admissions chances to do it anyway.
