MTal does not sound like he will make a very competent lawyer. Maybe law school isn't for you.

Probably one of the lamer trolls I have ever seen and it serves no point but to insult others who are working towards a goal.MTal wrote:Congrats! You have a pulse.....and a promissory note!

Dude, what non-mentally handicapped person who is interested in the field of law remains unaware of these lawsuits? You're not telling anyone anything they didn't already know. I mean, for fuck's sake, I fucking agree with your damn point, but you're like the motherfuckers with hybrid cars that make me want to get a truck that gets 8 mpg and let it idle outside their houses all day.MTal wrote:It's never been acceptable to make people aware of fraud that is being perpetrated on them?NYC Law wrote:It's never been acceptable to post that shit in on-topic threads for entering classes. Its funny how you guys are so quick to get on MTal but when someone like Pless posts about UIUC he's preaching gospel.paul34 wrote:That isn't the point, MTal. The point is that there are rules for those particular threads. You should respect those rules. If you disagree with them, fine, but start another discussion about your disagreement and reasons which you feel justifies changing the rule. I don't know the reason for that particular rule, but if I had to guess, it's most likely to keep those threads on topic and not a thread in which others crap on that particular school. There are other areas of this forum where school crapping can be done.MTal wrote:It's never been acceptable to make people aware of fraud that is being perpetrated on them?NYC Law wrote:It's never been acceptable to post that shit in on-topic threads for entering classes. To use the truck/Prius example above, think of it this way: If you, as a Prius fanatic, wanted to "convert" others, would you go attend every off-roading and truck, jeep, and other kind of large vehicle owners' meeting and try to give speeches about how they're all supposedly destroying the environment and should drive Prii instead? No. You'd quickly be asked to leave. There are other places for that kind of debate. Does that make sense?
I was also uninvolved in that.paul34 wrote:I wasn't involved with that. Please don't lump all TLSers into a singular group.
I can assure you that if Pless shows up and starts posting in the UIUC c/o 2015 thread "DO NOT ATTEND THIS TTT", he will not be worshipped.MrAnon wrote: Its funny how you guys are so quick to get on MTal but when someone like Pless posts about UIUC he's preaching gospel.
Well the info on UIUC that I've read was pretty surprising. This is mainly stuff we already knew/suspected. I guess that's the difference. I mean any dirt on a T1 school is kind of viewed differently than schools outside of that range.MrAnon wrote:Its funny how you guys are so quick to get on MTal but when someone like Pless posts about UIUC he's preaching gospel.
