URM? I've heard of UM rejecting people in the 160s.


Surprisingly no. Had family ties. Applied last cycle in December, got waitlisted... accepted a few months later.

I think you are quite wrong. Certainly both H and Y reserve a certain number for spots for TFA corps, almost all T14s have special TFA scholarships. All the law school benefits was one of the huge reasons that I wanted to do TFA. This! Cornell has strong ties to TFA as well.

PSA: A 159 will not get you into Harvard or Yale, unless you are in the 1%. ;)

I applied to Columbia on down all the way through GW, so we will see. And H and Y do not reserve a certain number of spots - they don't even need to. There are already a ton of TFA people applying t-14, so many that it's not even really a boost. I don't think i'll get in anywhere that i wouldn't have gotten into otherwise, but we'll see.
