Really strong numbers + interview was more like a sales pitch for GULC + interview request email says your application is very strong = yield protect??likemike wrote:Small sample size, but there are a lot of people on here with really strong numbers. Could it really be that interviews are for people on the fence?
Congrats on getting into Michigan, that seems like a godsend with those numbers. No offense, I have the same exact numbers...You were already accepted to Michigan this cycle?JoeMo wrote:164 3.9 (declined since I'm going to Mich)
Yes, I was already accepted to Mich and it was my #1 so that's where I'll be going.joshceo wrote:Congrats on getting into Michigan, that seems like a godsend with those numbers. Yeah, mine said the same thing (my email). I haven't had my interview yet.bbalcrzy23 wrote:Really strong numbers + interview was more like a sales pitch for GULC + interview request email says your application is very strong = yield protect??likemike wrote:Small sample size, but there are a lot of people on here with really strong numbers. Can you be specific about the wording? I am wondering if mine was a YP as well (3.6/176)snehpets wrote:Yeah, mine said the same thing (my email). I think the wording is the same for everyone. I don't think there is one specific reason why they choose to interview a candidate. They can benefit from it in many ways.....1. make sure you are not a psycho 2. increase yield 3. better alumni relationships 4. choose between borderline candidates..etcchapmaco wrote:Can you be specific about the wording?
