what to do with waitlist?

Postby ypark87 » Mon Nov 21, 2011 12:15 pm

Question: If you get waitlisted to a school, what is the next step? When do you find out when you get rejected or accepted off a waitlist? Does this conflict with, say, if you were accepted to another school and you had to make a decision before you learned of a decision from waitlisted schools?
Obviously this question is highly premature, but I was just curious. Sorry if this is confusing.

Best thing from what I've read is to keep the school updated. Send a letter of continued interest indicating they are your top choice (obviously, only if that's true). Update GPA if you are a k-JD, maybe even throw a "Why X" essay at them if you REALLY want in.
