Hello,

Part II, Q3 of BU's character and fitness section reads: Other than a first conviction for any of the following crimes -- drunkenness, simple assault, speeding, minor traffic violations, affray, or disturbance of the peace -- have you been convicted of any misdemeanor within the past five years?

A few years back I was found guilty of two counts of "disorderly conduct," a first (and only) offense. I have no problem with disclosing it (I have to for most other schools, BU's seems really liberal about exceptions), but do you think this is excepted from disclosure? I mean, "disorderly conduct" is virtually the same thing as "distrubance of the peace" and "affray" is probably worse, but it's not explicitly listed and I wonder if I should still disclose it. I'd obviously rather not if I don't have to.

Disclose. It is not explicitly listed. They're not going to care anyway, so risk aversion dictates that it is better to reveal.
