How to disclose dropped & expunged arrest?

Postby westinghouse60 » Sun Oct 30, 2011 10:48 pm

I want to fully disclose an arrest I had a few years ago for which the charges were dropped. Obviously I think its in my best interest to disclose even when the school only wants convictions (e.g. like on Columbia's application). But I don't particularly want to check off "yes I have been convicted of a crime" when I wasn't then attach an C&F addendum explaining it was only an arrest. Is that what I should do (which technically isn't true), or should I put "no" then attach the addendum explaining the arrest? Could an arrest keep me from passing the bar in a state anyway?

On an unrelated note, do I need to submit an LSAT addendum for a 167-175 jump when the only reason was just more/better studying?

Bump?

I don't think I'm going to write a score jump one, I really don't have anything to say.

Put no, write addendum on it. No, you won't fail bar from it... yes it could be an issue if the bar thinks you were trying to hide it
