William and Mary E-mail

Post by emkay625 » Wed Oct 26, 2011 11:09 pm

Hi guys. I thought something W&M did today in their fee waiver e-mail was nice. In the attachment, they had this:

Employment Status Profile
Employed or in Advanced Degree Program 90.7%
Full-Time Bar Admission Required/Anticipated
(includes 10 short term positions)
Part-Time JD Required/Anticipated (both short term positions) 0.9%
Full-Time JD Preferred (includes 1 short term position) 4.2%
Part-Time JD Preferred (both short term positions) 0.9%
Full-Time Professional Other (includes 1 short term position) 4.2%
Part-Time Professional Other 0.5%
Full-Time Non-Professional Other (short term position) 0.5%
Advanced Degree 3.7%
Not Seeking Employment 1.4%
Seeking Employment 4.2%
Status Unknown 3.7%

I thought the transparency of calling out that some of the positions were short term was nice. Good job W&M. I wish more schools would do this.

Ahhh wow that's very nice of them. Now I wish I hadn't responded to that email with "Please remove me from this mailing list"...
