My transcripts went through today and my LSAC GPA (3.85) is lower than the result I get using the lawschoolpredictor.com GPA calculator (3.88). I've tried entering in my grades multiple times and I consistently get 3.88. I don't have any dropped classes, but I did take two courses credit/no-credit.
Why's it lower? Am I missing something here?

That calculator isn't foolproof. I am not sure why there is a discrepancy but I do know you have to agree every time you use it to a long statement that basically says it's not guaranteed to be accurate.

Are there any classes you took that weren't a full credit? Is it possible you're not weighting something correctly in the calculator?

HI, I was just noticing the same sort of thing. Does yours say "3.25 and up" or something like that? Because mine was a 3.825, and it says "3.75 and up." I suppose LSAC categorizes our GPA's.

I entered in all the credit hours correctly... the same way they appeared on my LSAC report. Maybe my credit/no-credit classes dilute my overall GPA?

They shouldn't (i had a few classes that were just Credit and they were just left out of my gpa). unless you got nc on one class? because that'd do it.
