Yah, I hear ya about the restriction of student loan access. Loud and clear. What I'm also suggesting though is putting more barriers to entry to getting into law school in the first place. If you look at med schools in the U.S., I don't see them having these problems. Plus, requiring people to have some sort of exposure to the legal field and what is needed to succeed (say in biglaw) could theoretically deter some of them from applying.

I believe the AMA also has all member medical schools restrict enrollment so as to create an artificial and perpetual slight shortage of new doctors vs. open positions.

honestly though... I wish someone would have posted warnings and shit on TLS before I applied to law schools.

All the information that was available for me before was law school salary numbers, society pushing the notion of law schools are a path to riches and TLS boards which were very upbeat and positive about the legal profession.
