Primary ethnicity? Secondary ethnicity?

I was just browsing Ohio State's application..and when asked to state your ethnicity, it asks for your primary ethnicity, then secondary, tertiary ethnicity??!??!?!?! What do bi-racial candidates do?????????????

I'm sure bi-racial candidates respond/check boxes as needed. If it doesn't apply to you, don't worry about it! :)

If your bi-racial (me) how do I decide which ethnicity is primary and which is secondary??

Doesn't matter. Just check the two that apply, or assign in random order, and move on.

Because if a school has any possibility of being able to claim that you are a URM, they'll count you as such. If not, they won't.
