Admissions Interviews? Informal??

Post by wannagotolaw » Tue Oct 11, 2011 3:45 pm

I am planning on visiting some DC schools tomorrow and the Admissions deans said they would meet and talk for a little while and answer questions- is this an informal interview of sorts? What are some good questions to ask? and has anyone heard of these helping your application?

Have some specifics to ask the Dean about that school. Certain programs/classes you're particularly interested in.

It probably won't be much of a boost, if at all, but it can only hurt if you interview poorly. As long as you're prepared, polite, and appear interested, though, I'd take advantage of the opportunity to get some face time and have some questions answered, albeit by a highly biased individual.
