Fee Waiver Question

Post by mtyler19 » Mon Oct 10, 2011 6:18 pm

I want to start asking for fee waivers from different schools, but I just retook the LSAT in October and my previous score of 156 is obviously not very desirable. Is there a way I can just give my GPA of 3.6 and say I'm still waiting on a score? How do I word the email? Can I ask for a fee waiver from a school such as the University of Houston with the previous score? Thanks for any help!

Well, I can't really answer your question, but I could tell you that I don't have an LSAT score yet at all and I got fee waivers from Buffalo and Pace just by asking.

You can try, worst that happen is that they will say no. Just say you're interested in the school and give them your GPA and LSAC number. However, don't lie. If you say that you don't have an LSAT score when you actually do, that could obviously work against you. (I'm sure you knew this already)

Good luck!
