Correction e-mail?

Post by acjones88 » Mon Oct 03, 2011 7:13 pm

I realized after submitting my applications that I had the dates for when I graduated and when I received my degree wrong. I walked in May, but took a summer course in July. I think I should e-mail the schools and give them the correct later dates, but what should I tell them?

Just say that you got the dates wrong and apologize. I wrote the wrong date on my resume and sent a corrected one. I got in a week later.

You can also send documentation (unofficial transcript, for example) showing the correct dates, too.
