I took the LSAT today. It did not go well, but the thought of cancelling breaks my heart.
Question:
I am a splitter - 169/3.22.
If I applied to WUSTL today, would LSAC automatically send them my new score when it came out? I would love it if the answer were no...
Does LSAC send schools updates?

They will. No hiding.
They may not even consider your application if you have a test pending.

Damn.
My likelihood of cancelling just went up by a mile.

New question:
Will WUSTL look at a 169, 166 as being THAT much worse than a 169, cancel?

If you were in a position to retake a 169, then presumably you would be in a position to know if you should cancel or not. It seems to me that you do not believe you scored >169, so i see no reason to not cancel.

I have hope. I think 30 percent > 169, 70 percent < 169.
My fear is I will cancel when I would've gotten a 173, or cancel and then do worse in December/have the same thing happen.

Fwiw I retook a 169 and was almost certain I did worse on the retake. Turns out I did better. Ya never know.
