Top Law Schools

I am taking my first LSAT in October and I was wondering if I get a decent score, let's say 165 and I send in my apps for a number of schools. However, I still want to take the December LSAT and try to get a 167+. What if I'm denied admissions before my December LSAT score comes out? Or do schools not reject you until at least January?
