I applyed ED to school A. Say I get into school B before A gets back to me (like end of Dec). Can I call school A and withdraw the entire app, thus cancelling the binding ED or do I HAVE to keep the app to A and attend, if admitted?

Couldnt find it in search. ty

generally yes you can do that since the contract states only if you are accepted and if you with draw before the decision you are still able to get out.

I would still call the school in question beforehand, just to make sure.

Kthx. I'll check with the school I ED'd to before withdrawing if I end up in that spot. Thanks!

I hesitate to say never, but I've never seen a school where you can't either a) ask for your ED application to be rolled to the regular application (could hurt your chances there) or b) withdraw your ED application completely from that school.

A might be a bit harder to get away with, but I don't see why you couldn't do B.
