I plan on having 3-4 Rec Letters
1 from my boss is an attorney
1 from the director of an organization I am heavily involved in on my campus.
And 1 or 2 from professors.
Question is should my rec letters from professors be from professors who hold tenured positions and phds or will a letter from just a regular professor work just fine?

I'm no authority, but from what I've gleaned, the choice you should make is the one that knows you better, regardless of credentials. Of course, the advice given to me is that two academic letters are better than one, so I would ask both.
