Faxing LOR's
Is this no longer a viable option?

Re: Faxing LOR's
LSAC does not recommend faxing because the image of the letter is not always clear, and the barcode on the form can be distorted. Either of these problems can cause a significant delay in processing. If faxed documents are clear they will be accepted; however there is no guarantee.
It's in the LOR FAQs on your LSAC account. Maybe next time be a little more patient and/or spend 30 seconds on your own research...

In the FAQ's it says that they don't recommend it, but I have heard from others that it still works fine/is the way to go. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight.

It sounds like, unless you're under a time crunch, try faxing it and see if it gets processed or call LSAC. I think I faxed them something once, (though it may have been a different org, I can't remember) and it went through without incident. Most fax machines do a reasonable job of faxing. You could also consider e-faxing.
