Question on Repeated Courses and how it effects # of Credits

Post by CCNhopeful » Tue Aug 02, 2011 1:56 am

Would the 2nd attempt be counted as if it was a separate course (3 new credits earned) or would it be averaged with the original grade without affecting the total number of credits earned?

I've attended 2 undergrad institutions (2.8GPA & 3.9GPA). If the repeated courses are calculated as new courses, this would significantly diminish my overall GPA.

Thanks for your help.

Both count as separate courses. It sucks, but it's something a lot of people get bitten by.

From what I was told, if the transcript for your original course does not show the credit hours attempted, then the original course grade will not be included.

Only one way to find out though.
