How to ask for a fee wavier at an LSAC forum?

Post by JDndMSW » Tue Jul 12, 2011 9:00 pm

I will be attending the LSAC forum in the Bay Area this weekend I am interested in how people have successfully (or unsuccessfully) asked for a fee wavier. I applying with a public interest focus so I will be asking questions about their programs as well as joint MSW/JD programs. What I am wondering is do they usually just offer you one, do you take their information and email and ask later, ask right then?

Thanks for the input! Hopefully this thread can be a resource for others as well.

"would it be possible to get a fee waiver?"

i'd actually ask before starting a real convo, because it could be perceived as socially inappropriate if it changes the momentum of the convo.

"i graduated then went into admissions. my husband works in....."
"fee waiver?"
