Cornell only does need? It seems that too many TLSers (with high scores) are getting them for that to be true.

I've had a hidden waiver for Penn for a few days now but just got an email about it a minute ago.

When you go to check out the app will either be "free" or you'll have a box where you can enter a code.

I didn't get that one. I think that might be for Washington U St Louis though.

No, no, no . . . it's St. Louis University, SLU. Much different (and much lower ranked) than WUSTL. Their 1843 Scholarship is a full-ride to the school. You have to be invited to apply for it.

No, I know there's a difference. I had already gotten a waiver from Washington U St Louis. I just didn't get anything about the 1853 thing in the regular St Louis (the lower ranked one) so I assumed it might be for Wash but that I didn't qualify.

LOL... sorry if that doesn't make any sense.

For those that got Texas waivers, have you taken the LSAT more than once? I have a 169/177 (October) on record, but still no Texas waiver. I'm wondering if it is because October wasn't my first test.

Just got Penn and Chicago unsolicited. I know they want you to apply sometimes just to get rejected but Ill let myself still feel really good about chicago for a second anyway.

Woo, got Vandy.

Its weird; I'm not getting any below T20 waivers, but I've gotten on from essentially MVP down to Wash U. Maybe the schools below that realize there is no way I'm going?

I'm getting no love in the fee waiver department. It makes me angry. :( I guess splitters don't get waivers...

Big time splitter here, but I got Penn, Mich, and Wash U before my second score. Gotten UVA and Vandy since.

Cornell has merit-based fee waivers, but they send them through snail mail. If you send in the application before receiving the waiver, you can get reimbursed. The Dean of Admissions at Cornell looks through the candidates that CRS recommends and selects candidates from that pool to send waivers. At least that is what the woman on the phone from their admissions office said. She was really nice/helpful.

That's right. I think I meant that they don't do solicited waivers.
I'm pretty sure that Boston College only does need-based

Does anyone know if Columbia submits multiple waves of fee waivers or reimburses for fee waivers after submission? I'm looking to submit my application in the near future; however, I was still holding out hope for a fee waiver. Thanks!
