Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
i applied two cycles ago, and received columbia and NYU unsolicited (NYU was hidden, without notification). also was accepted at both schools during the cycle. this cycle, i updated my CRS service for this year and have received other fee waivers unsolicited (including chicago), but neither of these two. after i missed each school's round of waivers, i emailed to request one. went 0 for 2LawSchoolGuru wrote:Has anybody successfully solicited either Columbia, New York, or Cornell during this cycle???

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
After looking at last years fee waiver thread, I did not see any second wave of CRS fee waivers for Columbia.
I'll probably send mine in today

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I got it also, and I'm above both medians. I requested it a couple weeks ago, but got back their "wait until CRS at the end of the month response"....I wouldn't be shocked if they send out a blast very shortly but just pre-marked those who will get them with hidden waivers for now....jungminnee wrote:i'm above both mediansTiago Splitter wrote:Were the USC waivers received by people above both medians?

No, remember it says "Here's what makes Illinois right for YOU."
THEN it talked about the free applications, which only apply to YOU.

I just got one from Cornell a couple days ago via mail? That's the third thing they sent me. I'm glad I've waited a bit to submit my application.

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
Cornell by mail for like the umpteenth time. I'm flattered, but I still have the last 2 view books they sent. I'd almost prefer for them to save some trees and just email me...
Also solicited one at GW, and got a hidden one at USC. I tried to solicit one from USC beforeIi realized I had a hidden waiver and they sent me this BS message chronicling their fee waiver criteria. Apparently, it's rare to get one if you aren't a TFAer, very poor, a USC legacy student or above both medians (I think the email said 3.68 and 167 but I'm not sure). Whatever, at least they're transparent.
Northwestern on the other hand... ugh.

I just got an email from Cooley. Does that count for anything?
I'm tempted to apply. Maybe not.

Apply to Alabama and get 20 free iTunes songs. Not a bad deal. Too bad the fee waiver doesn't cover the LSAC report.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
