2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking

Post by bmili » Wed Jul 06, 2011 9:34 am

Anybody start getting fee waiver emails yet for next cycle? I know Seton Hall sent out some yesterday.

Edit: Here is last year's thread for fee waivers as requested

Hawkeye Pierce Fee Waiver Spreadsheet (anybody can edit):

I will keep this up for a little while but don't have time to do this continually. Here are is a list of those that have been reported as received so far (including dates when applicable). Bolded means you can apply to school free regardless of fee waiver: Please see Hawkeye Pierce Fee Waiver Spreadsheet for updated list and LSAT scores or to input new fee waivers

I got the Cincinnati waiver and I don't even have a GPA. Now to decide whether it's worth 12 LSAC dollars to apply...

Also, I took the June LSAT, if that's any help.

Everyone keeps saying $12, but it's $16 now, right? That's a big difference when you don't have a lot of money and it's times 30 schools or so.

Yeah, i think its $16 now, 33% increase in LSAC fees. Applying to school is still really expensive, even if you have a full time job. Can't imagine being a college student and applying.
I did not know the fee increased....wonderful.

I've more or less gotten the same ones. Eagerly awaiting the day I get a fee waiver for a school I actually intend on applying to.

Only one I've gotten all cycle is Minnesota. My stats are on my profile.

I emailed a couple t-14 schools with my LSAT/GPA and most of them replied with something along the lines of... "you will likely receive a merit based fee waiver. If our CRS system doesn't pick you up, email us in late August".

Just got one from U Denver. It would actually be very nice to study in Denver, though job prospects might not be the best
