Writing a LOCI this late in the game

I haven't sent anything to one of my waitlisted schools in 2 months. If I want to write a LOCI letting them know i'm still interested, can I just keep it to 2-3 sentences or should I be expanding it into a Why X essay? I don't have anything new to tell them but I want to let them know I will still attend if accepted
