I'm waiting on my June LSAT scores and I've got some free time to start putting together any essays, etc. that will be required for my law school apps.
I was thinking that I was going to start writing a personal statement now, but I'm looking at my #1 choice school's website and it doesn't really ask for a PS like the ones that I've read on TLS.
This school requires only an "Academic Admissions Statement" and a CV. The directions for the Academic Statement are that it "should focus on academic abilities and experiences and may include, but need not be limited to, information regarding academic interests, academic experiences and activities, career goals and public service. Academic information should be limited to undergraduate and post-graduate work. Examples of academic information include research experiences and projects such as a thesis, an honors thesis or a dissertation."
Is this just a PS with an emphasis on academics? If so, is this school asking for something unique? It seems like most people just write one PS to send to all schools, and it seems like most people don't focus on academics in their PS. To fit what this school is asking for it seems like many people would need to revamp their PS.
Also, it asks for a maximum 4 pages. How many pages would be ideal? Three? What should be considered too short?
Thanks for the input.

That's an interesting prompt. I'd say just focus on academics in the PS. Good luck!
