Corporate Litigation Law

Post by Maserati91 » Wed Jun 01, 2011 2:44 am

I was just wondering how this field worked in general. Is it easy to break into? What type of clients do you represent? How's the pay? How is it different from regular corporate law (they are separate categories on Cravath's site).

Thankss

It's litigation. You litigate disputes in courts and before administrative agencies (and some ADR). Contract disputes and business torts. It differs from "corporate law" in that the label "corporate law" traditionally refers to transactional work.

You really need to stop doing this. You need to learn and research a bit for yourself so that you're asking good questions and not ones that make us want to post Picard memes.
And this. If I weren't whoring for post count so bored at work, I would have answered or posted a meme.

You now have six separate threads--just on the first page--asking stupid questions that you could've found the answers to for yourself by means of this extensive "research" you've been conducting (ever heard of Google?). And they're not even in the right forum.

Also, this isn't AIM and you're not a 12 year old girl, so cut this shit out:
