How hard would it be to transfer from PT to FT?

I would love to attend a law school that I am wait listed at. I applied for the FT program, but I am considering attending if I get into the PT program. I will be happy graduating from this law school, but I was wondering as to how hard it would be to transfer to a higher ranked school's FT program after doing one year of PT? Would taking summer classes suffice? Would it be a wise choice to go to the best law school I can get into even if it is PT for the first year? All advice would be appreciated.

Check the transfer app instructions for the schools you think you would want to target; I believe the standard rule is you have to have completed the full 1L curriculum, which doesn't seem possible in two semesters part-time. Also, do not start at any school unless you're prepared to finish there. If you manage to transfer, that's great, but the odds are around 100:1 against.

Thanks Gideon. I am concerned about the last question that I asked. Is it a wise choice to go a highest rank school you get into even if it is PT?

Let's just say it's a high T2 regional school.

You need to say the school. Not all T2s are created equal.
