LOR Question

I was reading Montauk about LOR's and he talks about getting writers to answer "questions" from each school. I didn't know schools had specific questions. Am I missing something? Is this an older part of the LOR requirement that no longer exists?

I know some schools have their own LOR forms (look them up on the law school's website), but even these accept general LSAC recs. If you want to target a rec for a certain school, you could forward along the recommendation form to your professor.

Even if the school doesn't have specific questions for the recommenders to answer, you should have an idea of the qualities you want them to reflect. Pick recommenders accordingly, and drop hints about what you want them to talk about (during the meeting when you ask for/discuss the letter, as well as in a note you leave/follow up e-mail).
