Creation of 2 LSAC accounts--is this allowed?

Are there any restrictions against creating an anonymous LSAC account that won't be used? The reason for the account is just to view schools' applications for research purposes -- I'm not an applicant for this cycle. This account would be followed next year by a real account with a different e-mail address, to be used in the cycle.

You don't need to be an applicant for this cycle to create a genuine account, so I see no advantage to creating a fake one.

You don't need to register with LSAC to see a school's application anyways.

Most of them have PDFs of them that you can look at on their website, or they have a page that lists what they will ask for on the application.

So if you created two LSAC accounts, you could take the LSAT once with each one and apply to Harvard with the highest, right?

Never thought about that, but wouldn't the ssn screw you up? I thought we had to put that down so wouldn't that trigger some type of alarm?

I'm sure they could catch it, but there's always the possibility that they wouldn't.

At least the few times I've called, the LSAC employees seemed to be a combination of stupid, incompetent, and uninterested in the job.

Most of them do, but some like Penn, Berkeley, and H/S don't. This is why I ask if it's okay to create 2 accounts, one of them anonymous.

I still don't understand why you would need to create an anonymous, second account to review applications. Why can't you just use your real account?

Might appear dishonest--for reasons already mentioned--and since there isn't any "need" to (you can create an account at any time and use it for years) I would think you're much better off not doing it. C&F appears stressful enough. And it isn't that you're going to fail for every little thing, but because it is such an important part of passing the bar, and thus practicing law, you might as well not create questions where there isn't any need to.

Just make a real account. You can have it for a while. There's nothing saying "OMG you have LSAC account you need to apply and attend NOW!"

As an international student, I do not have SSN. What if I create another account, take LSAT again, and get a higher score. I don't think LSAC nor schools would know about it.

I now understand that there's no benefit to creating an additional one...before today I'd been under the impression that making an LSAC account committed you or had you under liability of some sorts. I thought of doing this because I didn't want to have any of that before my cycle started, now I realize it's not an issue.

Why? You would get caught easily.

Like the LSAC isn't going to notice two accounts with the same name, same information, and same finger print?

Also some school like Cornell keep apps on file for a year. I think they might notice the same LOR, similar PS, same info and so forth.
