Columbia & Cali

Postby pbutta123 » Mon Apr 04, 2011 2:42 am

I'm wondering whether attending Columbia will allow me the latitude to return to the Bay Area? Or if once I leave cali getting back into the market here w/o attending a law school here is nigh impossible...

I feel like this question keeps getting asked...

The concensus is that a CLS degree is extremely portable. However, San Francisco/Palo Alto is an extremely small market (compared to NYC, D.C., and Chicago). ITE, you would place better in the Bay if you went to Stanford or Berkeley. However, CLS defintiely will give you a shot especially if you have ties to the Bay Area.

Use the search function and you will find about twenty other people that have asked this question lately.
