accepting your scholarship

Postby Emma1 » Sat Apr 02, 2011 5:43 pm

Why do law schools want you to accept your scholarship separately from your acceptance to the same law school? I am confused by this. Any thoughts? Thanks

Who knows maybe some people might decline the scholarship. How does this confuse you , seems rather simple to me. Accept the school and then accept the scholarship. ?? :?:

The question is why aren't they one and the same and if there was some legal significance to accepting a scholarship on its own. Probably not but I thought it was odd that you have to do it independently from the acceptance to the law school.

I know some schools require you to "accept" your scholarship on the financial aid website along with loans.

well, if someone doesn't accept then they have time to give scholarship $$ to others before the deadline.
