How does AdComm interpret W's on UG transcript?

First of all, I'd like to apologize if this question was previously brought up. I tried using the search function and didn't find the answers I seek.

So, here's the situation. Last semester, as a new transfer student at my second undergrad institution, I took 6 classes (18 credits) and managed a 3.95 GPA. Thought I could keep it up this Spring but now I'm severely behind; I'm finding the workload to be too much.

Option 1: Withdraw from a Major course and re-take at a later time.
Option 2: Wing it for the rest of the semester and take a GPA hit. (Possibly dropping from 3.9ish to 3.7ish term GPA)

From what I understand, an official withdrawals is considered non-punitive, hence, it is not calculated in one's LSDAS GPA. But, how do Law School Admission Committees view W grades? Would having 1 or 2 on my transcript hinder my acceptance?

Thanks
