How long after being waitlisted should the LOCI be sent out?

Re: LOCI??
6 days, 4 hours and 16 minutes, or whenever a mistake-free, LOCI is completed

lol, I think that as long as it doesn't seem like a pre-written form LOCI, then a quick turn around only shows enthusiasm

Roughly 1 page, double-spaced.

Re: LOCI??
Mine was just over 300 words, including the address and greetings. I used 1.5 (multiple) spacing TNR 12pt font, and it perfectly fit on one page.Perch wrote:recommended length of a LOCI?

Would any of you care to glance over my LOCI I am about to send to UT and see if you think it is okay? I don't really know exactly what they are looking for.

Re: LOCI??
Just to add a question...
I'm waiting to hear back from some schools and believe my winter quarter grades (come out around April 1st) would solidify an upwards grade trend I've had for the last 4-5 quarters. Any advice on how should I go about conveying this?
Thanks in advance.

Re: LOCI??
I plan to send an LOCI to a few schools I've been waitlisted at. I am going to address specifics at each school that make it uniquely attractive. I did not address my lower than average GPA in my regular application -- is the LOCI a place to address it now?

Should all LOCIs be snail mailed or is e-mail okay?

Re: LOCI??
Depends on the school. Ask in the specific thread. Some schools only accept snail mail (I think Harvard?) while UVA was happy to accept an emailed version. I'd say email is TCR in most cases.crit_racer wrote:Should all LOCIs be snail mailed or is e-mail okay?
