Seriously bro, ditch this chick. Remember, you don't just marry the girl, you marry her family too. For real, ditch her and find a new girl to take to slamsboro/pound town/pile drive city/bonesville/ect.

I agree in part, with a specific dissent. Tell her that you're in a relationship with her, not her family. Tell her that if she can't mature and stop being at her parents' beck-and-call, she needs to find somebody else. Regardless of her reasons for going to law school, tell her that you want a relationship with an ADULT, not a semi-adolescent who is psychologically dependent upon her parents for her motivation and life choices. If she's offended by that, GOOD, maybe it will inspire in her some personal reflection, which, even if she breaks up with you, will benefit both of you.Moral_Midgetry wrote:Seriously bro, ditch this chick. Tell her that it is UNACCEPTABLE and that you will REFUSE to listen to her when she says "my mom said that I should...do X" The moment someone says shit like that, their fully functional adult credibility drops to 0.

The thing is, she seemed so much more mature when we first started dating. I am going to try to make it work. I will keep this thread up to date.

Why would you want to date a chick who isn't top 14... on the sexiness scale. Ditch this chick.

I read a study in economics that hot people will make an average of 30% more than ugies over their lifetime. I always wondered how they determined the hot or not factor, but the premise seems sound in my mind.ksimon2007 wrote:While this question may seem impertinent to many, I think it must be answered. If she is only moderately attractive then you should find a girlfriend at your law school and find nice in-laws.Moral_Midgetry wrote:How hot is she?
If on the other hand she is smoking hot, then you should just tell her to attend Cooley with a good scholarship and allow her to be your trophy wife.
Btw, I immediately thought "is she hot" when I read OP's first few lines. Fist bump.
Hah. She's an NYU girl isn't she? As others have said let her go to whatever TTT her parents want her to attend. If they're paying for it and she doesn't want to be a lawyer and ends up working in government it'll bump her up a grade (JDs started at GS-11 I think?) so it's not a total loss.
On another note, where the hell did you find rich people who don't care about prestige??
I wonder the same thing. Why wouldn't they care about the reputation of the school she attends?
She much rather get into a relatively easy graduate program at a name school than at a TTT law school.
But well, you are done with her so F$# it!

TLS. The website whose users dump their girlfriend because she didn't score high enough on the LSAT. That's how mother-fucking balls-to-the-wall this site is.

Wow, I wonder if TLS had anything to do with it. Why do I suspect it does.152 wrote:typ3 wrote:Why would you want to date a chick who isn't top 14... on the sexiness scale. Ditch this chick.
