Oh and her reasoning for getting back into the ls game so late after deciding not to earlier "the economy is so bad"Intraining wrote:Sandro wrote:Someone on fb said they were trying to finish their ps, and ave maria was one of their schools they were looking at. But would you go to Ave Maria, Barry, Florida Coastal, Nova, St. Thomas, or Florida A&M on a complete scholly...with living expenses too?rman1201 wrote:lmfao.Sandro wrote:Oh and her reasoning for getting back into the ls game so late after deciding not to earlier "the economy is so bad"Intraining wrote:Sandro wrote:Someone on fb said they were trying to finish their ps, and ave maria was one of their schools they were looking at. For all the crap people get on tls for making poor LS choices, we're still pretty ahead of the game compared to many non-tlsers
No. The only FL schools worth it, even with a full scholarship, are UF/FSU/Stetson/Miami. Everything else isn't even worth the forgone wages, aside from the fact you'll probably lose your scholarship.TOMaHULK wrote:

For anyone unfamiliar:incase2011 wrote:Can I just say in all seriousness... or as much as possible: that hippo has a sweet goatee.
Also, pizza stigma is a running joke for ave maria - it's even funnier that it's a highly moral Catholic school at the same time.
Even funnier than that is that a supposedly moral school would force its students to accumulate debt that they have little to no chance of paying off.incase2011 wrote:Can I just say in all seriousness... or as much as possible: that hippo has a sweet goatee.

I'm telling you I've been to this town; it's pretty nice despite the fact that it's literally in the middle of nowhere (no one can hear you scream.... lol). Every there kind of acts like the children of the corn - a little too nice, "come stay with us... foreverrrr..." I dunno it was creepy for me. The law school is in North Naples, nice area, don't know the building.rman1201 wrote:For anyone unfamiliar:incase2011 wrote:Can I just say in all seriousness... or as much as possible: that hippo has a sweet goatee.

Man, a fox news link (it was the first google result) and a resemblance of defending Catholic schools in my earlier posts... I don't like where my online persona is going.

I also envy the hippo's goatee.
OP, if you aren't choosing between UF, FSU or a full ride at UM/Stetson, I beg you to search through TLS. There are hundred of posts detailing the hierarchy and realities of Florida schools. If you haven't already, I am sure you will find them hugely enlightening.
How do you guys find the statistics for the typical salaries for Miami graduates?romothesavior wrote:Here's a reason: Having $200,000 in loans with a $40,000 salary, or worse, no legal job at all.drummerboy wrote:hence, miami is more expensive, but is that the only reason not to attend?
Law salaries are bimodal, there is next to no biglaw in Miami, and what there is is snatched up by T14 graduates who like sun and hot Cuban models.NiccoloA wrote:How do you guys find the statistics for the typical salaries for Miami graduates?romothesavior wrote:Here's a reason: Having $200,000 in loans with a $40,000 salary, or worse, no legal job at all.drummerboy wrote:hence, miami is more expensive, but is that the only reason not to attend?

GD T14 jerks. Will there still be like D-list CSI Miami actresses running around for the rest of us?FeelTheHeat wrote:Law salaries are bimodal, there is next to no biglaw in Miami, and what there is is snatched up by T14 graduates who like sun and hot Cuban models.NiccoloA wrote:How do you guys find the statistics for the typical salaries for Miami graduates?romothesavior wrote:Here's a reason: Having $200,000 in loans with a $40,000 salary, or worse, no legal job at all.drummerboy wrote:hence, miami is more expensive, but is that the only reason not to attend?
I realize that T14 is the lion that eats before the rest, but I'm looking at the best statistics I had the time to find (--LinkRemoved--) and though the reporting is low, there is some reporting of graduates earning six digit figures. How does that reconcile?FeelTheHeat wrote:Law salaries are bimodal, there is next to no biglaw in Miami, and what there is is snatched up by T14 graduates who like sun and hot Cuban models.NiccoloA wrote:How do you guys find the statistics for the typical salaries for Miami graduates?romothesavior wrote:Here's a reason: Having $200,000 in loans with a $40,000 salary, or worse, no legal job at all.drummerboy wrote:hence, miami is more expensive, but is that the only reason not to attend?
