r6, I didn't post to 2L's initial comment because I couldn't understand what he was getting at either, but at least I now think I understand why:

1) 2L is a child that got a hold of his mothers TLS account, or

2) He is roid raging again - it's OK 2L, we'll try to better accommodate dejected law school jocks in the future. Just put the pills down so no one gets hurt. . . slowly.

You may be stuck under a pile of crusty porno, but some of us prefer to hit the gym. It's not a bad thing.
Besides, I only bench 250. If I was "roiding" I'd be one of those freaks curling 90's.

Believe it or not, I log on to "switch gears" between studying. I don't stay on all day like some people. Sorry kid, we can't all be as awsome as you I guess huh? Some of us actually are in lawschool and not just throwing rocks at the moon.

Well I hate to interrupt this riveting discussion, but upon viewing my "unofficial" transcript on my cc's web site, there is only the name of the class with no mention as to whether or not it was online. So thank you to whoever pointed that out. I guess it never occurred to me because I never looked at the actual transcript, only at the grade sheet. And under "grades" it lists section number or "internet course."

Man I've taken a lot of classes...

Most online classes here are section 0 or 00, but it doesn't show on the transcript. Actually many online program's selling point here is that they don't distinguish the degree - if you get a online BA/BS from PSU, you get the same diploma as the traditional program. It's actually probably harder to do well in an online program because you have to have good work ethic to do your assignments without other people pushing you.

probably easier to cheat though......

For some, but not all. I took a few in undergrad and it was mostly self proctored stuff, and the ones that did require a proctor only required the person be a nonerelative with a BA(basicly any friend you want).

Personally, I think a lot of gen ed is just supposed to get your feet wet with the world through some exposure. Grading system is just there to make sure you get through the materials. So as long as you do the work. Core courses are usually not online - or set up to encourage cheating.

I don't really understand testing anyway. Your whole entire career is open-book, so why do you have to have close book tests?

common myth. 1) Your clients don't want to pay double while you look for stuff you should know and risk going past the SOL 2) Opposing counsel will do stuff that if you don't catch on the spot will cost you 3)You'll look like an idiot to the judge......can I look it up and get back to you after lunch?.....

That's AMA recommendation. Most top schools only allow you to work 2L/3L.
