Matching Scholarship

Postby lovejopd » Mon Feb 14, 2011 8:56 pm

Does Boalt hate Northwestern?...Why Boat consider all other T-14 EXCEPT Northwestern?

Northwestern doesn't give any merit scholarship? I am confused... :?

http://www.law.berkeley.edu/6957.htm

Do other T-14 schools have similar programs?...

Thank you all guys

Might be because NU gives scholarships based on a combination of merit & need - and you must apply to be considered.

Did you receive substantial scholly from NU but really want to attend Berkley? I'm sure you can still use that to leverage them, even if they don't "match" it

Sorry edited. Sorry about that

I am just curious about that. Why doesn't Boalt consider NU as a peer school.

Because it says they consider offers from other 12 schools except NU

Thank you anyway

On the website, even with the schools they did mention, there is no guarantee that they will "match it" per se. I remember that one of their FAQs was "Is this list final?" and Berkeley's answer was "yes." Sucks for anyone who got into NU with $ AND Berkeley with no $.
