How to negotiate a non-existent scholarship
So, got into School A (ranked in the 60's) with $0
Then got into School B (ranked in the 50's) with almost a 1/2 scholarship.
Since I did not receive any scholarship offer from School A, what are my chances of being able to negotiate a scholarship at all? Or is it a waste of my time?

39.56% chance of gaining scholarship money.
Seriously, nobody knows. Just try it and see what happens.

Tell them how bad you want to go and let them know your offer from a similarly ranked school. See what happens. Worst they can do is say no.

You'll never know if you don't ask.

I would also send a picture along with the email in which you attempt to master blue steel or magnum.

Negotiation *FAIL*
Emailed a school today that (based on their rank) I should have gotten a hearty scholarship to, citing my offers from clearly superior schools - they emailed me back encouraging me to fill out my FAFSA as soon as possible.
Still feeling the sting from that email.

I don't think it mattered what I said - they were not interested.

My favorite part from one of the best movies ever! No matter how many times I watch that part, it still makes me laugh out loud.lisjjen wrote:Your avatar creeps me out.well-hello-there wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 22&t=79373
