Best of luck, man. It takes a lot of maturity to walk away from something in which you've invested so heavily.
I hope you'll continue to stick around TLS, though.

I think it could definitely head in that direction...it would be very ballsy, and at least you wouldn't get shafted by law school.T6Hopeful wrote:How did this thread turn into a discussion about pornstars Unless that's a sign that my career SHOULD head in that direction.

Good choice. Ls isn't going anywhere and with your stats remain for 5 years.

So, what are you going to do now? Work wise?
If there's a profession that you feel you'd be more successful at, this is a good decision. If you have no clue, then this means you are having a case of temporary insanity (which I had) and you later look back at and regret. Don't withdraw your apps yet, I'd say. Give yourself some time to think over your options.

People also continually misread the bimodal distribution of salaries. I don't have it front of me, but it basically reads as 1/3 hit shit money, 1/3 hit great money, and another 1/3 hit a variety of salaries all along different point on that graph. So while there may not be as many 100K jobs as 160K, if you add up the people who get 80k, or 120K, or 110K, or 73K, its the same number of people who hit it big or small.
This has been discussed at length on this website, and I thought everyone had agreed to stop taking the blunt end of a very, very simple analysis to that chart.
