I wasn't trying to make a scene or anything, I was just hoping to run into him. Dean Cornblatt usually talks to groups during tours, so I was hoping I'd run into him after one of those and introduce myself.

At the one I attended, he made a point of leaving before the end, before the "meet and greet."

I applied ED PT to GULC with a 153/2.95. I was thinking about showing up to Dean Cornblatt's office unexpectedly and personally telling him how much I want to attend Georgetown. Is this a good or bad idea? My chances are slim anyway so the cost-to-benefit ratio seems to make sense.

I admire your gall and overall arrogance. Someone who is seriously willing to show up at the Dean's door unannounced and say "come get some, I want in" has a lot of what the Spanish call.... cojones

I hate to be such a debby-downer OP, but you have no chance at GULC. In fact, I would seriously recommend against going to law school. With your GPA and LSAT you are most likely not the right person to succeed in the profession. Sorry.

Actually I think it's you who most likely won't succeed in the profession. Who's to say that my GPA and LSAT scores aren't tainted because of a full-time work schedule? Overlooking simple connections like that won't get you anywhere in the profession. Just saying.
